This quaint restored 1920s rental accommodates up to six in the heart of downtown Boone. This property is located on West King Street, just three doors up from Earthfare! Walk everywhere! Step out the front door and explore downtown shops and restaurants, ASU’s campus, the football stadium, Holmes Convocation Center, the farmers market, and more!

If you need more room, check out the Appalachian House right next door, which accommodates up to four. Rent one or the other or both!

Bring the whole family and take a day trip to Tweetsie Railroad, High Gravity Adventures Zip Line & Aerial Park, or Mystery Hill. You’ll also find plenty of hiking trails off the Blue Ridge Parkway, which is just a quick ten minute drive from the house. Hike something strenuous, or enjoy a simple leisurely stroll through the woods. There’s something for everyone here in the high country! In the winter, enjoy skiing and snowboarding at the nearby Appalachian Ski Mountain.

A clean, roomy and comfortable place, and if you’re doing anything at App State, you can’t beat the location. Within walking distance of groceries and restaurants and campus. We parked and didn’t get back into the car until it was time to leave. The booking process and advance arrangements couldn’t have gone smoother. We’ll definitely stay there again next time we’re in town.
We loved our weekend trip. Easy check in, clean house, within walking distance of town with shops, restaurants and easy check out. Love! Will definitely stay again.

We stayed here while touring Appalachian State University, and I don’t think we could have picked a better place. It is practically on campus, and within walking distance of amazing local restaurants, shops, and a grocery store. The owners were very responsive to every request we had, and I look forward to the chance to stay here again.

We had a great time using this home for the family get together in Boone. Our son has summer classes at ASU, so we all came to him. The large dining space was a bonus for family meals. We appreciated the extra parking spot next door as we had 2 large vehicles.

We stayed here to attend our son’s graduation from App.State. The house is wonderful! Very spacious, well furnished and equipped, and the location, across the street from campus, was perfect. We were able to walk to the ceremony and not have to worry about parking. Also, we could walk to so many restaurants and shops. Owner was very easy to contact.

Perfect location and size for our family gathering. We will definitely be back!

We truly enjoyed our visit here. Came for a graduation & other family rented the small house behind. So we were all together & able to use the kitchen for a large family meal. It’s a charming house. Nice little decorative touches. So much nicer than squishing kids into a hotel room. It made for a relaxed, pleasant visit.
